Bulk Carrier Oils

The Ingredients Store supplies bulk carrier oils in the UK in 25kg, 180kg to 200kg drums and 1,000kg IBCs, from a range of 160+ cold pressed, refined and organic oils. Most oils come with a specification, safety data sheet and supplier product statement, and every oil lists its INCI name and origin. We supply cosmetic brands, soap makers, contract manufacturers and food and nutrition businesses.

Whether you fill a few hundred bottles a month or run a production line, The Ingredients Store can supply your carrier oils at the scale you need. We have spent more than 40 years in natural ingredients, and we stock over 160 carrier oils, from everyday sweet almond and sunflower to specialist oils such as echium, tamanu and bakuchi. The same oil you test in a 1kg pack is available by the 25kg drum, the 200kg drum or the IBC.

Drum and IBC sizes are listed online for our highest-volume oils, including golden jojoba (up to a 1,000kg IBC), fractionated coconut oil, refined evening primrose, refined olive pomace, black cumin and safflower. Other oils can be quoted in drum quantities on request.

Choosing the right grade

For bulk buying, consistency matters more than ever. Refined and deodorised oils give a neutral colour and odour that stays steady from one delivery to the next, which suits emulsions, soap and fragranced products. Cold pressed and virgin oils keep their natural character and are the first choice for facial oils and serums. Organic oils are named "Organic" in the product title. If you are switching supplier, send us your current specification and we will match the grade, origin and processing method as closely as we can, and tell you plainly where something differs.

Documentation for every delivery

Every product page gives the INCI name, botanical name, country of origin and processing method. For most oils we hold a specification, safety data sheet, supplier product statement and manufacturing flow chart, and for many a food allergen declaration. A certificate of analysis can be supplied for the batch you receive. If your quality team needs anything else, ask before you order and we will tell you what we hold.

Food and nutrition buyers

Selected oils, including refined avocado, refined grapeseed, refined rice bran, cold pressed flax seed and cold pressed extra virgin olive, are documented as suitable for food use per supplier product statements. Others are for cosmetic use only. The status is listed on each product page, and our nutrition and supplement ingredients page brings the documented oils together.

Delivery and lead times

Packs up to 25kg are usually dispatched within 3 working days by tracked courier. Drums, IBCs and pallets travel by specialist pallet courier, and we will contact you to agree a delivery time. We ship worldwide, and international duties are payable by the buyer. For regular contracts we can plan stock around your production schedule so the oil is ready when you need it.

What is the largest size of carrier oil you supply?

Our largest listed size is a 1,000kg IBC, and several oils are listed in drums of 180kg to 200kg. Other oils can be quoted in drum or IBC quantities on request.

Can I get a sample before ordering a drum?

Most oils are sold in 1kg packs or smaller, which lets you test the exact grade before you commit to a drum. For production approvals, ask us about samples from the current batch.

Do you offer contract pricing on carrier oils?

Yes. For regular orders we quote contract pricing based on the oils, volumes and frequency. Use the quote form on this page with your expected annual quantity.

Which documents come with bulk carrier oils?

For most oils we hold a specification, safety data sheet, supplier product statement and manufacturing flow chart, and a certificate of analysis can be supplied for your batch.

How are drums and IBCs delivered?

Drums, IBCs and pallets are delivered by specialist pallet courier. We will contact you to agree a delivery time and send tracking details.
