Cotton Seed Oil, Refined is a long-standing commodity in the food industry, known for its high oil content and natural stability. In cosmetics, it’s valued for its resistance to oxidation and heat, making it ideal for hot-process formulations like soaps and balms. With a light, unobtrusive scent and excellent emollient properties, it leaves skin feeling soft and moisturised without a greasy after-feel.
Rich in linoleic acid (~50–55%) and palmitic acid (~20–25%), Cotton Seed Oil also contains natural tocopherols (Vitamin E), which support skin conditioning and can help extend shelf life. Its affordability and mildness make it an excellent base for a wide range of personal care products, including shampoos, body creams, lotions, and massage oils.
