A simple first step into blending with essential oils: four of our customers’ favourites, 100 ml each. Bergamot FCF, lavender, sweet orange and lemon make a versatile citrus-and-floral palette for candles, diffusers, soaps and room fragrance.

What’s inside your set

• Bergamot FCF (Furocoumarin Free) Essential Oil – 100 ml. Bright citrus-floral, furocoumarin free
• Lavender Essential Oil (40/42) Blended – 100 ml. Soft floral-herbal heart note
• Orange Sweet Essential Oil – 100 ml. Sweet, juicy citrus
• Lemon Essential Oil – 100 ml. Sharp, clean citrus top note

How to blend

1. Work in parts (drops or grams) in a small clean glass bottle, and label it.
2. Start with the heart note (lavender or bergamot), then add citrus a little at a time.
3. Rest the blend for 48 hours, then smell again before using.

Three blends to start with

• Citrus Grove: sweet orange 5 · lemon 3 · bergamot 2
• Lavender & Bergamot: lavender 5 · bergamot 4 · lemon 1
• Soft Citrus: sweet orange 4 · lavender 3 · bergamot 3

Typical use levels

• Soy candles: 6–10% of the wax weight (the set scents around 25 candles of 200 g)
• Reed diffusers: 15–25% in Augeo
• Soaps and body products: 1–2%, within IFRA limits

• Cold-pressed lemon can cause skin sensitivity in sunlight in leave-on skin products; check the IFRA limits on each oil’s page.
