Pleasant enough but weak and far too polite for my needs.

Unfortunately, for me, this was nowhere near the quality or character that I was after.

The Cedarwood Atlas I received was noticeably different from Cedarwood Atlas I have used previously. On opening, I found an unusual marzipan-like note, which eventually developed into a more recognisable slightly woody character.

However, it lacked the immediate dry, terpenic quality and the rougher, earthy, slightly animalic undertone that I would normally expect from the material. Overall, I found this batch considerably smoother and more subdued than expected, and unfortunately that made it unsuitable for the formulations in which I use Cedarwood Atlas.
